Local project context
Planning a septic system for a Moonridge property
Moonridge is a resort-oriented hillside community on the south side of Big Bear Valley with winding roads and heavily graded building pads.
Steep terrain, shallow granitic rock, snow access, and limited downslope area can sharply constrain a proposed dispersal footprint.
A septic system design should follow the actual buildable footprint and wastewater demand. The home, grading, driveways, utilities, wells, drainage, setbacks, and a future replacement area all affect whether a layout can work.
