Soil and percolation testing for Amboy septic projects
Amboy is a remote historic Route 66 community near Bristol Dry Lake and the Amboy volcanic field.
Extreme remoteness, dry-lake margin deposits, volcanic rock, private water, and sparse services require early feasibility and access planning.
Septic soil testing is useful only when the field locations represent the proposed disposal area. Surface appearance, a regional soil map, or a result from a nearby parcel cannot establish the absorption rate or soil conditions for this site.
