Soil and percolation testing for Hesperia septic projects
Hesperia spans high-desert fan surfaces west of the Mojave River and rises toward the mountain front and Cajon Pass.
Older large-lot neighborhoods, washes, private wells, caliche, and sewer expansion create a parcel-by-parcel mix of wastewater constraints.
Septic soil testing is useful only when the field locations represent the proposed disposal area. Surface appearance, a regional soil map, or a result from a nearby parcel cannot establish the absorption rate or soil conditions for this site.
