Ship samples
Local project teams collect traceable material and send it to Calicore’s laboratory after quantity, packaging, preservation, and preparation are confirmed.
260 regional and city project guides
Ship representative soil, backfill, concrete, grout, or slurry samples from any U.S. project. Calicore also performs project-based in-situ thermal surveys when the route, schedule, and engineering need justify a field mobilization.
Local project teams collect traceable material and send it to Calicore’s laboratory after quantity, packaging, preservation, and preparation are confirmed.
Order an as-received point, a specimen molded to a target density and moisture, a concrete or FTB program, or a full thermal dry-out curve.
For selected projects, Calicore visits the site, establishes test points, measures suitable in-place material, documents conditions, and can collect lab samples.
Why regional pages?
Major U.S. metros differ in precipitation patterns, seasonal drying, freezing, groundwater setting, surficial geology, urban fill history, construction practices, and infrastructure demand. Those differences help a project team decide where samples or field points may be needed.
They do not justify a published “typical rho” for an entire city. Thermal resistivity changes with the actual material, density, moisture, structure, temperature, and preparation. Every regional page therefore explains local planning context while directing the design team back to project-specific measurements.
Broad regional planning for major U.S. infrastructure markets.
More focused context for technology, industrial, utility, renewable, port, transportation, and public-infrastructure markets.

Each guide explains likely project applications, the shipped-sample process, how an in-situ survey works, what to send before sampling, and why a citywide thermal value should not be assumed.
Nationwide testing
Yes. Soil and suitable material specimens can be shipped from U.S. projects after Calicore confirms the required quantity, packaging, sample condition, preparation, and schedule.
Yes. In-situ thermal surveys are available nationwide for appropriately scoped projects. Mobilization, access, excavation, utility clearance, and sample collection responsibilities are established in the proposal.
No. Regional soil and climate descriptions are planning context. A defensible project value must be tied to the actual material, location, moisture, density, preparation, and design method.
Yes. A field program can document current in-place points and collect representative material for controlled laboratory preparation and moisture-dependent dry-out curves.
