On a Chino Hills property, a small change in building elevation can affect driveway grades, earthwork, retaining needs, and runoff at the downslope boundary. A useful civil concept considers the hillside as a whole instead of fitting a building pad first and solving access and drainage afterward.
Calicore develops site and grading plans using the property’s topographic information and coordinates the civil design with the architect, surveyor, geotechnical consultant, and structural engineer as needed. The work can address a new residence, an addition, an ADU, or a drainage concern on an existing lot. Retaining-wall locations, drainage routes, and construction access are considered together before the package advances through City review.
