Those settings present different civil questions: maintaining drainage between closely spaced buildings, working around older irrigation or utility features, or balancing a building pad and driveway on a hillside. On larger parcels, early coordination can reserve space for access, utilities, and any required onsite wastewater components before the layout is fixed.
